Day Training & Walk-and-Train in the Fraser Valley

Keep the progress going—even when life gets busy.

A convenient training option that fits into your day.

I'll pick your dog up from home, spend an hour working with them on their training goals, and return them home afterward. No daycare stay, no full-day commitment—just focused, one-on-one training.

Day training is available exclusively to current clients who have completed an initial private training package.

Why Start With Private Training?

Before beginning day training, we'll first work together through an initial private training package.

This gives me the opportunity to get to know you and your dog, understand your goals, establish a training plan, and teach you the skills you'll need to continue working with your dog.

Once we've built that foundation together, day training can be used to provide your dog with additional practice and reinforcement throughout the week.

Need a Little Extra Help Keeping Up With Training?

We all have busy weeks.

Work, family, errands, travel and everything else can make it difficult to give your dog as much focused training time as you'd like.

Day training gives your dog additional opportunities to practice while you take care of everything else on your schedule.

The goal isn't to replace your involvement—it's to give you additional support.

What Can We Reinforce?

🦮 Loose Leash Walking

Build consistency and reinforce the walking skills we've established together.

🔙 Recall

Continue developing responsiveness and reliable recall skills.

🧠 Impulse Control

Give your dog additional opportunities to practice patience and self-control.

🎯 Focus & Engagement

Strengthen your dog's ability to check in, listen, and work with you.

🐾 Everyday Manners

Reinforce the behaviours that make everyday life easier.

🔄 Existing Training Goals

Continue working on the specific skills we've identified as priorities for your dog.

How Day Training Works

01 — Complete Your Initial Private Package

We'll start with private training so we can establish your dog's foundation and your training goals.

02 — Choose Your Day Training Schedule

Once you've completed your initial package, we'll determine whether day training is a good fit and choose a schedule based on your goals.

03 — I Work With Your Dog

Your dog gets focused one-on-one training and additional opportunities to practice the skills we're working on.

04 — You Continue the Training

I'll communicate what we've been working on so you can continue reinforcing those behaviours in your everyday life.

Day Training Is a Partnership.

Day training works best when we work as a team.

I'll provide your dog with additional training and practice, but lasting results come from consistency across your dog's entire routine.

You'll always be an important part of your dog's training. My job is to give you the skills, guidance, and support to keep building on the progress we make together.
