Private Dog Training in the Fraser Valley

Get the personalized support you and your dog need to make training easier.

One-on-one dog training tailored to your dog's individual needs, your goals, and your everyday life. Whether you're working on foundational skills, manners, recall, leash walking, or more challenging behaviours, we'll create a plan that works for you.

You love your dog. You just need a little more clarity.

Maybe your dog listens perfectly at home—but forgets everything the moment you step outside.

Maybe walks have become stressful. Maybe your dog is easily distracted, overexcited around other dogs, struggling with recall, or simply needs some help learning the basics.

Or maybe nothing is “wrong” at all, you just want to build a stronger foundation and become more confident in your training.

That's where private training can help.

🎯 Customized Goals

Have something specific in mind? We'll build the training around you.

Training isn't about making your dog perfect.

It's about learning how to communicate with them.

At On Point Dog Training, I use science-based, relationship-focused methods to help dogs learn skills in a way that makes sense for them, and helps their people understand what to do next.

My goal isn't simply to teach your dog a behaviour during a session. It's to give you the knowledge and tools to continue building those skills in everyday life.

Is Private Training Right for You?

Private training is a great fit if you:

✓ Want individualized attention for your dog
✓ Have specific training goals you'd like to work toward
✓ Want to better understand your dog's behaviour
✓ Prefer one-on-one coaching over group classes
✓ Want to learn how to continue training between sessions
✓ Are looking for a customized approach rather than a one-size-fits-all program

Here's What Getting Started Looks Like

01 — Tell Me About Your Dog

Start by completing my inquiry form and sharing a little about your dog, what you’re currently working through, and what you’d like to accomplish. This gives me the background I need to understand your goals and prepare for our work together.

02 — Build Your Training Plan

We’ll identify your priorities and create a training approach based on your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle.

03 — Train Together

During your private sessions, we’ll work through the skills and behaviours that matter most to you and your dog. I’ll teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog, reinforce the behaviours you want, and continue the training confidently at home.

04 — Keep Building

Training doesn’t stop when the session ends. You’ll receive homework, handouts, and email support to help you stay on track and keep progressing between sessions.

The goal is to give you the skills and understanding to create lasting change — both during our sessions and in everyday life.
