Intro Hunting Dog Lessons
Our hunting dog training 1:1 lessons are tailored for retrieving breeds and pointing breeds, with programs customized to each dog and their individual goals. Training may include obedience, field manners, bird introduction, steadiness, retrieving, and gun conditioning, helping develop confident, reliable hunting dogs at every stage of training. Program Overview
Intro Hunting Dog Lessons are private, one-on-one sessions designed to develop strong foundations while honoring each dog’s natural instincts. Offered one Saturday per month, these sessions are fully customized to the dog and individual goals. All experience levels are welcome, and handlers do not need to be hunters or plan to hunt their dog — these lessons are equally suited for those seeking breed-specific fulfillment and structured field work.
Training may include retrieving, recall in the field, steadiness, and foundational gun dog skills, with an emphasis on clarity, connection, and real-world reliability.
*Please note that live birds, if required for your sessions, will be subject to an additional charge.
*Please also note an additional waiver for Twin Creeks Ranch will be sent you after sign up. Specific directions for the property will be sent out before your session.
